Billionaire businesswoman Kim Kardashian and boxer Floyd Mayweather are set to win a lawsuit accusing them of scamming buyers with the difficult-to-understand cryptocurrency Ethereum Max.
U.S. District Judge Michael Fitzgerald on Monday issued a tentative courtroom docket ruling, pronouncing that attorneys for the disgruntled buyers were “looking to act like” the SEC, as first stated with the aid of Bloomberg. In January, buyers sued the mega-wealthy celebs, claiming they labored to pump the price of Ethereum Max tokens, after which they sold them off, leaving others out of pocket.
